I was not expecting to enjoy this book. When I realized who the author was (and I was not a Gilmore Girls watcher), I thought this was just another celebrities attempt to make more money in a new field based on their name... She did a good job though. It's a book written more for a younger audience. It was just a fun read, nothing too deep. But I thought she did well for a first time writer (I assume, I don't know her background.) It reminded me a bit of the books that Adriana Trigiani wrote for the younger audience. Just a cute story.
