First of all, just want to say HELLO and I am super thrilled to be a part of your wonderful blog. Thanks for allowing me to participate :)

I think most of us can agree that Sharon Creech is a pretty great author. This book was one of my favorites as a youngin, and I found it on Amazon for like $4 so, naturally, I couldn't resist buying it. I was really curious to see if it still appealed to me as an adult. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I love it just as much as I did in grade school. It is a light, easy read and has a good message. Reading it reminded me of my childhood kinda. Cheesy? Okay. I can deal with being cheesy.

Such a cute story. I love characters that I can relate to. I was the middle child in my family with five kids so I somewhat understand the whole not-sure-where-I-fit-in deal. I love Zinnia. She is witty,strong and has a killer attitude. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a fun, easy read.
