I love that Sue just beat me to posting about this book. I finished it last night, and I too enjoyed it. As I read the book, my mind kept wandering to The Secret Life of Bees and The Help. This book falls right in line with those two stories. I appreciated that the story was clean. At time I chuckled, sometimes I felt angry, other times, I felt sad. In the end, I was happy with the story, pleased with the characters, and thankful I'd checked this book out to read. See Sue's next post if you would like to read a synopsis.
