i read the princess and the hound a couple of years ago and it was ok. for some reason i decided, despite my lukewarm feelings about its companion novel, to read the princess and the bear. what can i say? i'm a sucker for young adult fiction, especially along the lines of fairytale re-tellings.
all i have to say about it is BLAH.
i was bored to tears throughout the entire book. i forced myself to finish it only because i didn't want to add one more to the list of books i've started and not finished.
my general feeling about both books is: don't waste your time. they're boring. if you feel inclined to read a synopsis, go here.
