the mortal instruments trilogy.

i know. they have been read and reviewed a couple times already, but i have to add my two cents. i loved them. they kept me thorougly entertained. all naptimes and evenings were spent with my nose in these books for two weeks. they remind me a lot of harry potter, but are definitely for an older audience {true YA fiction, definitely not crossing over to the children's section like HP}.

if you read them, i recommend reading caprene's spoiler here. it helped me to enjoy the books and not be stressed about how it would turn out :)
