I Am a Mother

In three words I deem this book: uplifting, emotional, and amazing.

I finished this book in just a few hours. It was truly an inspirational and amazing book that teaches mothers (and you don't have to have children to be a mom) that they truly matter. I was an emotional wreak throughout the entire book as Jane Clayson Johnson candidly laid down the truths and realities of mothering.

Jane use to be a network correspondent for the Early Show, CBS Evening News and 48 Hours. She's even covered national and international stories for World News Tonight with Peter Jennings, and Good Morning America. After years of living the single, famous and very wealthy life, Jane decides it's time to settle down and start a family . . . and quits her job to do it. Through all the criticism she received for making such a "silly" choice, and amid the dirty diapers, spilled apple juice and 4a.m. feedings, Jane finds she now holds the most wealthiest job.

I highly recommend this quick read to all, even if you're not a mother. Very inspirational.

5 out of 5 stars
