I couldn't get past the first sentance of this book. "The early summer sky was the color of cat vomit". Seriously? Is that not the dumbest first line of a book you've ever heard? It's right up there with "When Gregor Samsa woke up one morning from unsettling dreams, he found himself changed in his bed into a monstrous vermin." Needless to say, I never finished this one. I have been using it as my mouse pad for several months now. Anyone read the whole thing? I'd love to know if it's worth finishing.

Ha ha Ariel you are funny! That is a silly introduction to the book. :) I just noticed that you have this book review blog what a great idea. My husband is reading the Kite Runner and has really liked it. You are welcome to borrow it when he is done if you haven't already bought it.
