Anne of Green Gables

I made a ten hour round road trip with my ten year old niece last week, and thought it would be great to introduce her to Anne Shirley on the drive. How did I know I made the right choice?

Diana Barry's mom says that she was worried that Diana read to much.
My niece immediate pipes up: Um, no one can read too much.

Yup, I made the right choice (and I have the coolest niece.)

It was fun to listen to a story I haven't read in about 30 years.  I may have to read the rest of them over the summer just for old times sake. I'm not a re-reader, but maybe I'll make an exception, this once.
