the last lecture.

I'm sure most everyone has heard about this book. Randy Pausch, the author, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and after battling it every way he could, he was told that his illness was terminal and he had 3 to 6 months to live. His attitude during that time is what makes the story remarkable. Pausch's last lecture is the legacy that he wanted to leave behind for his students, colleagues, friends and most especially for his wife and 3 young children. I highly recommend it to anyone. It's a quick and inspiring read. Or you can watch the video of his last lecture here if you're not into reading... in which case, why are you reading this blog?

I haven't read this book, but I saw him on Oprah (go figure) and it made me cry. Very inspiring. Gee, I need to finish my book so I can post about it. You're two up on me now! Maybe I'll read during nap time today...

I agree with you about this book. It was his ATTITUDE that made this book really good. I loved it! He gave me another way to put things into perspective. The lecture left me wandering what I valued most in my life? What was I willing to argue about or get to me.
